CMC Will Have No School Tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2020

CMC Families,
 
For those of you affected by the fires, all of us at CMC are sending positive thoughts your way.  Please stay safe, and we will get through this together.    
 
I want to thank you for participating in our Family Orientation Sessions to begin the 2020-2021 school year.  Unfortunately, due to the wildfires, and unhealthy air conditions in Clackamas County, CMC is canceling our last orientation session for Friday, September 11, 2020.  This session was to take students through an abbreviated schedule of classes.  We will begin classes on Monday, September 14, 2021.
 
A copy of the schedule is attached with this email to help students navigate their schedule.  If your daughter/son knows their schedule (via StudentVue), and how to access Google Classroom, they may report to their Period 1 at 8:30am on Monday, September 14th.
 
If you daughter/son is confused as to how to report to their Period 1 on Monday, September 14th, please have them follow the directions below to enter the CMC Virtual Commons:
  • CMC Virtual Commons
  1. Sign into Google using your daughter's/son's nclack email account
  2. Go to the following link to enter the Google Meet forum for the Family Orientation
  3. If Step 2 didn't work for you, go to the following link to enter the CMC Virtual Commons
    • Clackamas Middle College Virtual Commons
    • If you can assess the Google Classroom- Clackamas Middle College Virtual Commons, then at the top of the page, click on the Meet link to enter the family orientation
  4. The links to the videos from the two orientation sessions last week are listed below:
Once students enter the CMC Virtual Commons on Monday, September 14th, we will help them navigate to their classes.  It would also help for students to enter the CMC Virtual Commons at 8:15am, so we can get them to their first period class by 8:30am.
