Hello CMC Class of 2025!
This is a friendly reminder of a few scholarship and grant opportunities for Oregon students that have upcoming deadlines. All of the opportunities below REQUIRE that you file a FAFSA: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa or the
ORSAA: https://oregonstudentaid.gov/fafsa-orsaa/
as well to be considered for funding. We will upload your high school transcripts for the OSAC Scholarship and verify your GPA for the Oregon Promise for you through the OSAC/Oregon Promise high school portal. Please make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to complete the applications ahead of time!!
OSAC Scholarship Application: https://oregonstudentaid.gov/scholarships/*** - (For all students attending 2-year and 4-year Oregon Colleges & Universities)
Early Bird Deadline February 18th, Regular Deadline March 3rd 2025
Ford Family Foundation Scholarship: https://www.tfff.org/scholarships/ford-scholars/- (For all students planning to earn a Bachelor's degree in Oregon) Ford Scholars program covers 90% of college costs for students for a full four years for students with significant financial need - Due March 3rd Oregon Promise Grant: https://oregonstudentaid.gov/grants/oregon-promise-grant/- (For students planning to attend Oregon Community Colleges) Deadline June 1st, 2025 (if graduating in March or June) - for students attending community college in Oregon next year with a 2.0 GPA or higher and less than 90 credits by the time you graduate. Funds are issued first-come, first-served so apply TODAY (app takes about 15 minutes).
***OSAC Scholarship (Office of Student Access and Completion) awards more than $10 million in scholarships annually. Awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 or more. You don't need to be a merit scholar or a student with financial need to apply. OSAC administers more than 600 scholarship programs, and you may qualify, but you won't know unless you apply! Complete one application for multiple scholarship opportunities .
