We are happy to announce the first annual Leleka: Ukrainian Youth Conference hosted by the student-led Ukrainian Club at Adrienne C. Nelson on Thursday, May 30th @ Campbell Elementary from 9:00-2:00.

This year’s theme is: You are the Future!

“The goal of the "Leleka" conference is to empower Ukrainian youth in Oregon to pursue their goals, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster collaboration among Ukrainian students, professionals, and educational institutions. We believe that each participant is a future leader capable of achieving success and making a positive impact in various aspects of life and career.”

The conference will be facilitated in both Ukrainian and English.

Students will take their regular school bus to and from school. A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

The Teaching & Learning Department will pay for school buses from each campus, subs for certified chaperones and timecards for classified chaperones who work beyond their regularly scheduled workday. Students will NOT be allowed to drive themselves to or from the conference, nor will parents be able to drive or pick up their child from the conference.
