Clackamas Middle College (CMC) Community,
During this school year, we have held a virtual Parent/Guardian Teacher Conference with each trimester. These conferences gave us the opportunity to help families increase their understanding of their child’s journey throughout the 2023-2024 school year. As we have held two of these conferences (fall/winter) to date, we are hoping that they allow families multiple opportunities to ask any questions or voice any concerns they may have about their child’s progress.
As we enter the midpoint of our spring trimester, we are doing something a little different with our virtual Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences. On Friday, May 10th, Clackamas Middle College will host group conferencing to help our students complete a successful school year. These group conferences are given priority to families of students who need extra support to earn high school credit and to help with future planning.
We will have CMC counselors, teachers, and other staff members available to answer any questions you might have. These conferences will give families an opportunity to meet with their child and all of their teachers together to provide any necessary support to complete the spring trimester.
If you haven’t already been contacted for a group conference, your child wasn’t identified as needing this extra support during this time. As always, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers for an update on how they are doing in their individual classes or by checking ParentVUE/StudentVUE.
There will be no school for students in CMC’s College Prep Program Friday, May 10th due to these group conferences. Students who are in the Pathways to College Program, Pathways to Careers or the College Extended Options Program will still be required to attend their college classes on this day.
Thank you for your time, we look forward to seeing families and students this Friday to provide extra support and guidance. We wish you the best for the remainder of this school year!
Sincerely,
Brian
