Northwest Science Expo System (NWSES)
Information for NCSD students
NWSES is a connected system of science fairs in Oregon that qualify students for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). This year Regeneron ISEF is in Los Angeles May 12-17, 2024.
NCSD students must attend the Gresham Barlow STEM Expo on March 8, 2024, at Gresham HS and finish in the top third to qualify for the state fair known as the Northwest Science Expo. NWSE will be held at Portland State University on April 5, 2024.,

https://nwse.org/ has a Forms Wizard you can use to get an idea of which forms and approvals will be required.

Every project requires an Adult Sponsor. The Adult Sponsor can be a parent, teacher, or mentor. The Adult Sponsor is responsible for helping complete required forms, registering the project online, and distributing fair communications to the student (i.e. checks email frequently).
Online Registration
The first job of the Adult Sponsor is to register online as one, select the student's organization and select the Gresham Barlow Science Expo by following the registration links at https://nwse.org/
After the Adult Sponsor adds a project, the system assigns it an
