Microchip Career Day (Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023). Are you fascinated by the world of microcontrollers, mixed-signal technologies, and cutting-edge solutions that power the devices we use every day? Look no further! Microchip Technology invites you into the heart of technological innovation. Students will explore the lab, hear from professionals what it's like to work in the industry, and engage in hands-on learning with Microchip employees.IN PERSON at Microchip.

Students will go behind-the-scenes at Microchip and explore embedded control solutions at a leading semiconductor and electronics company. They will explore the lab, hear from industry professionals what it's like to work at Microchip, and engage in hands-on learning with Microchip employees.

How to attend:

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd2LjgcWDX-SI2nsg3FAJsm6JhCAXvKkeuzTDPr7-ANP95FpQ/viewform

ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you're accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. Priority is given to students from PWA partner districts (Parkrose, Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Oregon Charter Academy, Portland Public Schools). Students from other districts are always welcome and accepted whenever space is available.
