CMC Community Support to process the recent events in Ukraine - Alana's Room during lunch

Our hearts are heavy. The invasion of Ukraine has impacted all of us either directly or indirectly. Many in our community have family and/or friends living in the regions and struggling for safety and shelter. It is imperative that we take this time to show compassion and support for our impacted CMC community. Remember, you never know what battles a person is facing. Refrain from judgment or assumptions and most of all, be kind.

For the next week, Monday, March 7th through Friday, March 11th, the CMC counseling department will provide a space for students everyday during lunch in Alana's room to come and process these events. Ideally, the space would be a student-led, counselor-facilitated space where ideas for how to support our impacted students could be shared. A compassionate space, art supplies, prompts and goodies will be available. Please bring your own lunch.
