November 15, 2021,
Clackamas Middle College (CMC) Families,
I hope this communication finds your family safe and well.
Due to the success of our virtual Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences last year, we are looking to continue this success by hosting our virtual Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 23rd. The conferences will be held over two days to give families more of an opportunity to meet with their child and teachers.
These virtual conference dates are for families of students in all of CMC’s programs. We will have CMC counselors, teachers, and other staff members available to answer any questions you might have. The purpose of these conferences is to increase your understanding of your child’s journey throughout the 2021-2022 school year. As we go through this process together, please feel free to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have about your child’s progress. We encourage all families to log into their North Clackamas (Google) email account with their child. Prior to signing up, please review your child’s grades (via ParentVUE/StudentVUE) to pick the appropriate day for the conference.
On Day 1- Monday, November 22nd, we are focusing on families with students who are receiving C’s or lower in their classes. This will give us the opportunity to help students who are receiving lower grades in order to give the adequate support and guidance to improve these grades for the fall trimester. The conference times for Day 1-Monday, November 22nd begin at 11:30am and run through 7:00pm in the evening with a smaller break, and dinner break built into the schedule. If your child has a C or lower in most classes, please go to the following link to schedule the best time to meet with your child’s instructors on Day 1-Monday, November 22nd from 11:30am-7:00pm.

If you cannot attend during the days and times listed above, please feel free to contact your child’s teachers/counselors. Within the next week, we will email families Google Meet teacher codes to enter the conferences directly during the appropriate scheduled times.
As a reminder, there will be no school for students in CMC’s College Prep Program Monday, November 22nd through Wednesday, November 24th. Students who are in the Pathways to College Program, Pathways to Careers or the College Extended Options Program will still be required to attend their college classes on these days. Thanksgiving Break is November 25th & November 26th; both CMC & CCC will be closed on these days.
