Clackamas Middle College (CMC) Graduates and Families,

In order to make Operation: Support, Recognize, and Celebrate the Class of 2020! a success, we want to communicate specific information pertaining to the Support! Phase coming up next Wednesday, June 3^rd from 10am-4pm.  We encourage each family to participate in order to maximize our support for our graduates.

As mentioned in our communication last week, the first phase is: Support!  CMC Staff have been busy putting together graduate care packages to fully support the Class of 2020.  On Wednesday, June 3^rd from 9am-4pm in Clackamas Community College’s Harmony Campus Parking Lot, CMC Staff will be handing out these graduate care packages to graduates and their families.  For ultimate safety, CMC will be honoring social distancing guidelines during this event.  All staff will be wearing masks, gloves, and cleaning every surface to ensure the safety of our students and families.

The participation of each family is encouraged, so that together, we can ensure that we are fully supporting our graduates during such a difficult time.  These Graduate Care Support Packages will go out to each graduate’s family, and include the following:  Class of 2020 Yard Sign, Class of 2020 T-Shirt, Custom Clackamas Middle College Tote Bag, Cap and Gown (if ordered), Honor Cord, Stole, and Medal (if applicable), Graduation Recognition Celebration Program, Yearbook (if ordered)

In order to make this event a success, please follow the following guidelines for this Support! Phase:

·         Who:  Clackamas Middle College Staff, Graduates, and Families

·         What: Graduate Care Package

·         When: June 3rd from 9am to 4pm

o   10-11am- Last Names- A-C

o   11-12pm- Last Names- D-G

o   1-2pm- Last Names- H-L

o   2-3pm- Last Names- M-R

o   3-4pm- Last Names- S-Z

·         Where: Harmony Campus parking lot (via Aquatic Center Drive-stop light at Harmony and Aqua Center Drive-see map on page two)

If you can’t make the proposed time slot, please communicate with your counselor, so that we can adjust our planning to ensure a smooth-running event.

Please look for specific details regarding all phases of Operation: Support, Recognize, and Celebrate the Class of 2020! in the days to come to properly celebrate our graduates!
