CAW is a statewide program hosted by Oregon Gear Up, and carried out by ASPIRE Program. The idea is that schools dedicate the first week of November to highlight the college planning and application process for college bound students. CAW week builds up to the final College Application Day where volunteers from the community come and assist students with their college applications, essays, and college and career choices for post secondary success.
Workshops - Each day at lunch during this week, we will host an open session on different college planning topics.
Advisory - College-related activities on Tuesday/Thursday to get all student aware and involved in CAW.
College Spirit & College Application Day - On Friday, seniors will be able to come in to get help with college applications and celebrate their accomplishments through certificates and enter into a raffle for a prize. All staff and students are encouraged to wear college gear on November 6th.
Recognition & Celebration - On Friday, college-related prizes will also be raffled off for students that attended lunchtime workshops throughout the week. The winning advisory will earn a pizza party at lunch on Friday.
