You are required to subscribe to this class website (see "Subscribe" button on right-hand side of page) and check your nclack.org emails weekly. All assignments and materials will be posted on this site. 

The Internship Experience is a Clackamas Middle College graduation requirement that provides students with real world experiences and tools that will assist them in successfully transitioning from high school into the work force, college, or apprenticeship programs. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credit through Clackamas Community College’s Smart Internship Program. This experience will enable to students to meet the Personalized Learning components including the Extended Application requirement of the CMC diploma: Students apply and extend their knowledge in new and complex situations related to the student’s personal and/or career interests and post-high school goals through critical thinking, problem solving, or inquiry in real world contexts.

Important Announcements for CMC Seniors that did not attend Senior Nights

Hello CMC Seniors and Parents!
 
We missed you at the senior nights this week. Please make sure to complete the following steps as soon as possible to start your senior year off on the right track! We look forward to you having a very successful and productive final year at CMC!!
 
1) Review Senior Night Presentation. This contains lots of important details about graduating from CMC, college planning, and the Internship Experience class required for all seniors. 
 
2) Subscribe to Internship Experience - Fall 2016 class website. This is a graded assignment due by 9/16/16. 
 
3) Come to the CMC College & Career Center (Karyn's office) to pick up your senior folder and review information about the required Internship Experience class with Kyle McDowell, CMC College & Career Center Coordinator (his email is [email protected]). This class must be finished by the end of fall term, so please plan to come in before 9/16/16 to get all the details.
 
4) After you have your folder, check in with your counselor - Michael Ferber (College Prep) and Kami Aguilar (CEO/Pathways) for any questions about your transcript or fall schedule.

CMC Senior Night Reminder!! Wed 9/7 & Thurs 9/8

Hello CMC Seniors and Parents!

Please make sure to attend a Senior Informational Night this week. We will cover important information about senior year, including the Internship Experience class required of all seniors. (Please see attached letter that was mailed home last week)

Wednesday, September 7, 2016 - 5:30-6:30pm-(Seniors whose last name begins with A-M should attend this hour along with their parent/guardian for important senior requirement information)

Thursday, September 8, 2016 - 5:30-6:30pm-(Seniors whose last name begins with N-Z should attend this hour along with their parent/guardian for important senior requirement information)
